Aquatic Answers Lounge at the Backer Tradeshow Featuring A&M Aquatics' Brian Wagner

A&M's own, Brian Wagner, will be a featured speaker in the Aquatics Answers Hall for this years HH Backer Christmas Tradeshow October 2 - 4th in Rosemont, IL.
Brian will be giving two fantastic, mind blowing presentations on how to Acclimate and Quarantine Incoming Live Shipments. We all know that acclimation and quarantine are two of the most important aspects of keeping saltwater livestock. A&M is a 2009 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch award winner

A&M Aquatics was honored on April 30, 2009 as one of the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch for 2009. The event was sponsored by The Michigan Celebrates Small Business (MCSB) as an opportunity to spotlight small businesses that are working to propel Michigan's economy.

Now in it's fifth year the event is founded by the Edward Lowe Foundation, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Michigan Small business & Technology Development Center, Small Business Association of Michigan and the U.S. Small Business Administration of Michigan.

Expanded Fish Holding

A&M Aquatics has expanded the fish holding system with another fish run. This replaces the invert holding system that was located here.

Inverts has been moved and expanded also.

Backer Show 2007

Backer Show 2007
A&M Aquatics was well represented at the Chicago Backer show this year. With both video images of our facility and product in our booth as well as providing the livestock for the Central Aquatics tanks in both their booth and the new product showcase.


The Oceanic tank in the new product showcase which was fully stocked by livestock from A&M received an award for 3rd place. It was the only aquatics product at the show to receive any award.

Bertha is running and foam is coming. Watch out dirty water.

Big Bertha

The new protein skimmer for the main fish system has arrived. It will greatly enhance the filtration capacity of the system with faster turnover as well as increasing biological filtration in the form of fluidized sand filters attached as pre filters for the skimmer.

A&M Open House 2006

The A&M Open House in August of 2006 was a great success. There was plenty of opportunity for store owners and employees to interact with manufactures representatives as well as each other.

We got lots of great feedback on how to do it better for 2007. Stay tuned

We are pleased to offer both aquacultured and maricultured corals to our wholesale customers. Much of the aquacultured coral is grown here at our facility, with the remainder coming from other suppliers in the USA. Our maricultured corals are grown in the country of origin.

We believe that these corals are highly marketable for the retail store and look forward to expanding this product line with more SPS, LPS and soft corals.
